Mainlands roofs from 1967 to 1977
The Mainlands of Tamarac Lakes were built between 1967 and 1977, so the houses are fifty to sixty years old, even if many roofs have been replaced since. Every one of them is well past the twenty-year line where Citizens asks for a four-point inspection, and the roof photo is one of the four. The low ranch profile keeps the whole roof within reach of the eave.
Ranch roofs are low and long, which makes them straightforward to reach from a ladder at the eave. Older concrete tile is walked only where it will take weight. If the roof is near the end of its life, Michael says so rather than clean it, because a clean roof that still needs replacing does you no favors.
