The IRIS overspray line on drive edges
Boca's reclaimed water irrigates lawns across the club communities and beyond, and a sprinkler that throws water past the grass lands on the same strip of drive every watering morning. Reclaimed water carries dissolved minerals and some nutrients, so that strip grows algae faster and picks up a mineral stain the rest of the drive does not have. Light pavers show it first.
The wash and post-treatment take it off and slow it down, and the mineral staining gets its own treatment. What stops it coming back is the head: turned or lowered so it waters the lawn and not the pavers. On a long motor court with several zones, that small adjustment can do more than the cleaning. Michael can point out which heads are the problem.
